The first time I used the kit, the connector misaligned, the plastic sleve was bent and the gold slip ring broke loose. I tried again and seemed to get a clean crimp; unfortunately, a little tug pulled the connector off the wire. I slipped it back on and tried crimping more firmly, but to no avail - with the specified cable, lenght etc. Still looking for a good tool. |
